Platycerium elephantotis (Tatsuta form)

This is a plant out of the late Carlos Tatsuta. The fronds are upright then other elephantotis. Like dryer moss them most species.

CARE

TEMPERATURE:
Warm to Intermediate;60°F min. to 95°F max.

WATERING:
Moist; 1 waterings per week (let moss become somewhat dry between waterings) "not hard dry" Less water in winter or cooler months.

LIGHTING:
Bright or (indirect light)

LOCATION:
Native to Africa.

Comments:
Not all that difficult to grow, likes wormer weather and lots of water when growing. When they are established pup's "New Fern" will start emerging from the roots of the mother fern. When they get to be about 4 inches they should be removed.
